Although ADHD isn't a learning disability itself, however, it does make learning more challenging. It's difficult to learn when you can't seem to sit down and pay attention to a book or when you can't seem to focus on what your teacher is saying.

When teamed with any actual learning disabilities it can create a lot of difficulties for children and adults alike who already struggle.

Some examples of Learning Disabilities include:

• Dyslexia: Reading disorder

• Dyscalculia: Math disorder

• Dysgraphia: Writing disorder

• Dysphasia/Aphasia: Problems with language

• Auditory processing disorder

• Visual processing disorder

Any of these Learning Disabilities can be hard on their own. And if combined with ADHD, well, I think you know where I'm going with this.

Many of these Learning Disabilities can cause someone to have behaviors very similar to those of ADHD. This can cause them to be difficult to diagnose, especially if you have already been diagnosed with ADHD. It is very important, if you suspect that you have any of these Learning Disabilities in the list to talk to your doctor or therapist about them. You may need to be referred to a specialist, but the quicker you find out, the quicker you can begin treatment.
